Report a fault (defect) on a vehicle
Quickly log a problem on a vehicle without doing a full inspection.
Who this is for: Drivers and mechanics who spot a problem.
Log a defect
- Tap “Defects” at the bottom.
- Search for the vehicle by registration, make or model, and tap it.
- Type what’s wrong in the “Describe the defect” box. Be clear — say what and where.
- To report more than one problem, tap “Add another defect” and fill the next box.
- Tap “Submit all defects”. You’ll see it was recorded.
TipA defect tells the workshop something needs fixing — the office and mechanics can see it straight away.
